Direction : follow an arrow ..

Type "2008"

Font: Pixochrome ( dafont.com )

Size : 137 pt

Duplicate layer "2008", fill Black

Go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur

Angle : -45 degree

Distance : 16 px

Bring this layer to backward

Pick Soft Eraser Tool ( Eraser with hardness = 0% )

Clear these areas..

Add layer style for "white-2008" layer

Result !!! Look impressive

Type "challenge" text

Font : Futura

Stand on background layer, draw a small rectangle selection.

Bring it to new layer ( Ctrl + J )

Blending mode = "Multiply"

add text ..

Link all text layer, rotate it as I did

One more pattern fill layer ..
