Classic Cars Theme Header Design.

Step one:

Start with a 900 x190 px canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set and name it Header Design. In a new layer draw a 859 x 13 pixels, #0D0502 colored rectangle just below your canvas.

Step two:

With your shape layer from step one add the following layer styles:

Step three:

In a new layer draw a 2 pixels, white line across your canvas, same width as your rectangle from step one.

Step four:

Choose your rounded rectangle tool with a 12 px radius, in a new layer draw a 144 x 12 pixels, white rounded rectangle.

Step five:

Now cut the top corners of your white rounded rectangle and add a gradient overlay layer style:

Step six:

Duplicate the rounded rectangle design from step five 2 times and position them as shown below. Picture is resized.

Step seven:

In a new layer draw a thin black rectangle on the center rounded rectangle design.

Step eight:

Now save the Car Graphic Design and insert it into your canvas.

Step nine:

In a new layer draw a small white rectangle with 2 px black border. Position it on the end of each stripes design from the header.

Step ten:

Choose your text tool and select font Arial Black from the font list. Set the size to 60 pt, strong and #D4B35D for color. In a new text layer type your website name.

Step eleven:

Add your name again with black color and its seperate layer.

Step twelve:

Add your name again with the same font color but white color and in a seperate layer. Position the white text as shown below.

Step thirteen:

With your text layer from step twelve, set the layers blending mode to darken and add a inner shadow layer style:

Step fourteen:

To have the stripes overlaying on top of your text first duplicate the header graphic layer and place it above the text layers on the layers window. Set the layers blending mode to Screen.
